Thank you. I took the car to a meet and as I was cruising in, a guy asked me if this was the same car he saw in the pic, he reached across through the passenger window to shake my hand lol.

Did some "testing" against my friend's racetruck (2.6 MPI 550cc injectors, TEC-2 ems, water to air intercooler) and we were quite even. I really need new front tires.

Here's some shots later that night, obligatory car park shots haha.

Full frontal hard parking.

One of the few rear shots that I like.

I finally got new tires, this time a good set instead of the "comfort softs" I was running on lol. After some run around, I was able to find a shop to mount them in time for a "cruise".

You can see we were prepared for fun. There was mention of driving like a "civilized human being", I found out that meant having a lead foot and plenty of gas to burn.

Image
We planned a few stops, but I had no idea where they were and was hitting 120+ to keep up with these guys lol. And then at the end of a straight, they had a stop... so my brakes didn't get a chance to cool. Smoke was rolling out of the front, at first I thought I blew a power steering line. Nope, just the carbon/kevlar pads getting a little hot. The Viper guys were impressed with the smoke lol.

My friend in the red 240z pulled in right behind the F430 as we were heading out, and one of the Viper drivers was thinking he'd be slow... but he surprised everyone and was congratulated him on staying right on the bumper of that Ferrari, haha.

Image
Another stop, in a small town. They were either staring because they liked the cars, or wanted us to get the hell out of their town lol.

Image
This is on the way back, after most of the group split up. An old Datsun guy came over to talk up a storm to the other old Datsun guy lol. Maybe Mitsu owners will be like this soon...

And here's some video, this time with speed and action for T-Man...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LepkPJt1y-0

We did about 250 miles that day, 90% of it was hammer down. No issues for any of the cars, except a brand new FR-S which got a check engine light as we got out of the parking lot.

Would have loved to be in the convoy as the scenery looks beautiful in the fall :beer

Freezing weather on the forecast so I needed to change my coolant.

Image
Always wanted to use a drain hose, which worked quite well and meant I didn't have to lift up the car.

When the temps dropped to -13C, I felt like it was a good time for a video after being cooped up in the house.

You'll need some good speakers to fully enjoy the sound of the BIG BLOCK MITSU 2.6.

"Starion in the mist" If only I had the Japanese cop show "Gorilla" version, with gullwing doors... I could call this "Gorilla in the mist".

This spot is barely a few minutes from my house, and for many years I've said I'd take a picture here, so I've been scoping it out for a very long time lol. I drove by in the fog and decided the time was nowww.
