can you imagine if someone's car toppled onto it's side today?
You'd get police to block off the road for a few hours while the ambulances come and paramedics assess injuries, and a crane truck, a tow truck and a fire truck or two come and sort out the damaged car.
Depending on how long it takes for the cavalry to arrive, the occupants of the car, if they are able to get out, will sit on the curb and sulk or check that their manicured cuticles still look presentable - if they're men, or brush up on their make up before the hot firemen arrive if they are women.
Meanwhile traffic within a 15 suburb radius is at a gridlocked stand still.
The world has progressed well.

Stunned as to how well the old jalopies handled the mud and rough terrain without LSD's or lockers let alone 4WD in particular the one in the drain with about 30 degrees + lean on the body and it still drove out :o :D :beer
