What oil pressure should I expect to see on a Starion 4G63 single cam engine? Like cold and hot, I do realize the grade of oil has some effect.
Yep, by "text book" standards, those figures are ridiculously high, but the 4G63 is known for high oil pressures. I don't quite have the figures listed above, but not far off them either. It's just the way these engines are.
A general rule of thumb is 10psi per 1000rpm, so you can see that the 4G63 is WAY above the "rule".

Yes it is such, and that's with things like:
Standard engine including balance shafts
Standard head bolts (not oversized ARP ones)
Standard spec oil, a quality 25w50 brew.
