So it looks like for the street my boss wants me to run some of our 17x7 +0 & 17x8 +0 wheels.

Whats going to be the best tyre sizes do you think?

Hey another one for you wheel guru's out there. will the following combination fit? rimsntires.com reckons it should but, it isn't the same as first hand experience.

18x8.5 +15
225/35/18

Clearance results from site

Suspension - Package is 2 mm (0.1'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars.
Fenders - Package will stick out 8 mm (0.3'') farther. Acceptable for most cars.
Wheelwells - 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM)

Thanks in Advance

That's a perfect fit then isn't it?

I reckon it will depend on the brand of tyre and how much sidewall bulge there is...I would expect on 18's it wouldn't be much

I think it depends on the individual car too, they seem to vary by a few mm on what will actually clear so you need to allow some space

They will fit as far as clearance to the struts go inwards, you'll definitely have to do some guard rolling however.

195/50 are the size you'd put on a gemini or ae86, you need 60 profile our your speedo will be reading way faster than you're actually going.
