Yeah if I could remember exactly what my old staz was I would post it up, might have to dig around and find where I wrote it down. I know it was pretty good, a lot better than my lancer, but not 50/50...

Lancer is 62% on the front if anyone was interested. Thank god it's AWD!

Hey Flappa,

You got and EVO? or what?
I am currently waiting for an EVO 4 with Ralliart ECU and a number of other suspension and exhaust mods.

Cheers

I an article somewhere that says the widebody is 53/47, and that's with the 2.6, so the 2L should be a bit better than that

I prefer weight slightly forward as this can help reduce understeer when under acceleration, such as when exiting a corner. I subscribe to the theory they applied to the S2000 and S6 RX7's where they put the engine back behind the front axel line - I think these are slightly front heavy too, but under acceleration, they're close to 50/50.

53% front - 47% rear is correct.
Of course all of that changes the second you start modifying anything on the car...

Man I hate shooting people down, but its actually Mid-mount Rear wheel drive, 2litre, hence MR2.

Sorry dude but Im real keen on the MR2.

I think RR is more like VW punchabuggy style, right up the back.

try 2 space savers on the rear 4 starters (the most fun that can be had in a car) then increase the width gradually as your skill level and horsepower improves
when the clutch pops the bullshit stops!!!

Camotec - did the car seem to handle any different when Steve was driving his starion around with you in the back hatch with your legs hanging out the back?
