My new project

Post by Vulpes »

Apart from Starions my other love is Sigma Turbos. I have just purchased a very original one from SA and it is arriving Tuesday. It will require a full rebuild which I am starting ASAP. If you thought Starions were hard to get parts for try getting parts for a car that they only made 500 of. I'm in the process of setting up a mould to reproduce the front grill and headlight surrounds. Rare as rocking horse shit. Watch this space !

Been there done that Dazz.

Dropped 30k, redoing one many years ago. They are hard to to get parts for, but I still think the stazz is harder.

I sold a Sigma turbo to a guy 16 years ago. Funnily enough I saw it by chance whilst i was doing an inspection in a Sydney Suburb. Left a note on the front door of the house and turns out the same guy I sold it to 16 years ago still owns it. He is now helping me out with all the parts I need in return for me helping him rebuild one of his cars. I am very fortunate to have him as a help.

The brothers that used to be "Monstabishi" still have a decent sized collection of Genuine & non gen Siggy Turbo's.

Theo aka DR Sigma down near the gong still has a heap too.

Car arrived today

Post by Vulpes »

She arrived today and is sitting in my shed awaiting the next few years hard work and many thousands of dollars. It is a very good base for a project, not too much rust, most of all the hard to get parts are there. Will post some pic soon, how do I do that again ?
