WTD - Front seats in NZ.

Post by ProZac »

My new Red car came with some Recaro seats. They're quite nice, but I'd prefer factory seats. It has a black interior, so I need black seats, which makes things harder. I'm open to either cloth, velour, or leather.

Open to trades for the Recaro's, plus a little cash (as in I give you a little cash) for some good condition items with all the plastic adjuster bits intact.

I've built some decent rails for the Recaro's, that put them just a bit lower than factory seats. They're offset to the drivers side of the wheel about an inch to make sure the adjustment mechanisms and handbrake clear, its not really noticeable though. I don't even know if the factory seats are truly central anyway.

Hi Zac,

Do you want the black leather seats that came out of Bryce's car (they have the rails as well)? I bought them as spares with the rest of his interior but I'm not going to end up using them any time soon so you might as well have them. I don't want any money for them but in exchange could use your advice and help going MPI at some stage in the future.

Getting them Auckland to Christchurch won't be the easiset but I could probably take the backs of them (if they come apart easily) so I could send them in seperate parcels via CourierPost.

YES YES YES YES YES.

So many YES's.

That would be AWESOME!

I can organise freight from my end easily.

I'd be more than happy to provide any advice you might need in going MPI. Additionally, if you need any alloy welding done, send it my way, I can fizz it up for you and send it back.

I'll PM you to sort out details.

You're a legend :)
