Well as it turns out my new glass guy makes moulds cheaper than the last one!
It looks like i can do glass guards for under $300 per side. And of course can lay some guard bottoms out of the same mould. They will attach as per the original part.

Re: guards
It wouldn't be cost effective to turn a narrowbody into a widey.4gpwr wrote:I think a fibreglass wide body kit would be awesome and some thing I would buy .

I reckon there are stacks of options out there already for wider kit for the starion.
Just a set of sideskirts, 3 piece wing and a JD front style lip give the Starion a better look.
If a widebody kit should get off the ground, I reckon the rear quarter found on the 4wd Starion could be replicated.
The 3 piece rear spoiler, w/b guards, w/b sideskirts and w/b front lip (already replicated) all would just bolt on.
Front suspension would need to be redone and that wouldn't be too hard with a set of D2's.
Eg,

If I was going to do a widebody kit, it would be a 4wd starion kit. I'm just trying to work out how to do it, although I have an idea..
