OMG, they just destroyed a widebody....

Post by David »

I was just watching the Junkyard Wars Marathon (Discovery channel) and they made car-dozers....

And there it was. A beautiful widebody starion, with wrap-around rear spoiler and JB style B-pillar inserts.

And they just smashed it aside and destroyed it....

Tragic, tragic destruction.

I was in rage. My wife had to pull me back from the TV set. !!!

I think we should all write in to the US junkyard wars and express our displeasure. I'll cap the destruction. Let's electronically petition these guys to *never* destroy something as rare as a Starion again.

Who is with me ? !!!!!
David.

It is Airwolf.
Such a sexy machine she is.
The photo was taken by me at an airshow in Holland a long time ago.
I am currently collecting all of the episodes on DVD.

A Starion is a thing of beauty. I love the things, otherwise I wouldn't have owned one for almost 8 years now. It is also a thing of heartache, frustration, worry, and a real wallet lightener.
But I wouldn't give it up, neither of them in fact.
I guess love is blind...
