Details for 2013 meeting place

Direction to meeting point are as follows:

Meeting time is 8am in Romsey for 8:15am departure.

Directions to Romsey:

Heading out of Melbourne , travel on Tullamarine Freeway as if you were heading to Melbourne Airport .

Continue past Airport following directions to Sunbury on Sunbury Rd (C743)
(Tullamarine Freeway becomes Sunbury Rd behind Airport) Continue through Bulla on the C743

Just before Sunbury turn right at roundabout onto the Melbourne - Lancefield Rd (Signpost: C325 Lancefield).

Continue up Melbourne - Lancefield Rd until you reach Romsey.

Drive into Romsey and at the Mitre 10 Hardware Turn left in Barry St (Signpost: Woodend A79 To Calder Fwy)

Meeting point will be on Barry St 150m from the Mitre 10, on the Left.

I'm a definate starter. See lots of you there, looking forward to my first "Picnic".

At this stage we have 4 cars (panda, bluesystem x 2 & myself).
There is a prior meeting location & time on route to Romsey for some of us to gather:
7am for 7:15 departure from Bluesystem's in Preston - all of you coming so far have my number so please call or text.
Be a good meeting place for JJH & Mitsumadness. So are you guys confirmed?
And who else is joining us?

Looks like we're going to get a good turn out if everybody shows, 6 cars will be a new record and double our previous efforts.

Spoke to Panda this morning he is picking up Mitsubishi Flags and banners from the local dealer in Mt Gambier to bring with him.

I'm so envious, I wish I had my Galant finished to take. Wondering if they'll let my "1987" Lancer Evolution 6 TME in!!!! lol.

So yes, due to late work I won't get to meet up early :( I'll be coming a bit later tho, probably get there about 10:30-11:00am and will still bring the widey in but prob won't get the same area unfortunately (unless they let you save a spot?)

How much is entry to the show ? And can you buy food n drink there ?

$20 I'm pretty certain and there's some food vans/trucks I think

Call us on route Hugh, we'll save you a display spot as thats usually possible. Your issue will be the organisers allowing you in the display area..if they do you'll have to crawl in because of pedestrians.

JJH is not joining us as he will be working on his vehicle instead. Pity.
