My long suffering other half is driving me to Exotic to get it this morning so I won't be able to answer you just yet as it is raining .Didn't trailer it there as it's only a 15 min drive and SWMBO followed me there to bring me home.
Was intending to do a day on my old favorite surface, - dirt at IWMAC autocross/sprint track but it will almost certainly be washed out going by the weather forecast which is a bummer as wanted to experience the feel of the car moving about on a loose surface again after 5 years away from autocrossing on dirt .

Just drove it home with a short squirt up to 90 onto the freeway seems to be a bit mental from 4000rpm with a firm shove in the back :wtf: :D

Does it feel like its choking at the top of the rev range with the smaller housing?

Having a big external wastegate would help prevent the choking

Rad, what is SWMBO? Bloody acronyms! Ah, I get it...She Who Must Be Obeyed... You must be referring to your mistress.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?

It comes from "Rumpole of the Bailey "
What mistress ? If I had one I would have to sleep with one eye open as there are too many sharp knives in this house.

UPDATE Just had it tuned at Chapmans in Cooroy app 2 hours drive from home. Decided to go there after Josh Coote, Murrays son who told me that Rob Chapman did all the tuning on their 600 hp time attack S13 and spoke highly of him. I am impressed by Robs feedback and tuning skills and ended up with 329 HP ATW at 6000 AND A WIIIIDE torque band peaking at 5600 on a 17 psi safe tune and rev limited at 7200 :D
For those who don't know Murray was rallying the same time as I was and he went on to become Qld & Australian rally champion and now makes PROFLEX coilovers
Josh is building a 350Z with a Nissan V8 as his next drift car and the workmanship is fantastic and should be a weapon when finished.

PS will go for a quiet country drive with a couple of squirts up to the limit tomorrow and report back

Is Rob the same guy that races off-road Mitsubishi's with his son Clayton. If so, then the son is going to be be even better than Rob at all things fast & furious. Have met both of them quite a few times at off-road events. I believe Clayton also owns a Starion as well, or used to.
