It's pretty clean but there's some rust comming through in the bottom front fenders (usual) and on the bottom front LH wheel arch but other than that it's an awesome car. For the price I got it for Im happy especially with a spare LSD and all the books from my gold mine post

Was bought new by a Mitsubishi employee hence all the manuals then sold to someone in adelaide whom put the wheels on it. Has a re ground cam, double valve springs, ported head and rebuilt turbo, as well as all receipts to prove

You've been busy! Thanks for taking a closeup of the new intercooler aperture, now I see what you mean regarding the rubber edging.
That's what I have in mind for mine as it keeps the piping short and leaves nothing hanging out underneath screaming "look at me!".

I'll mount mine in a similar position if I can and slightly lower down...but I'll be brawling with the condensor and dryer/receiver...this thing has good air conditioning and I aint throwing that out.

My biggest concern is the lack of air flow through that part of the car. It's probably nowhere near as bad as I'm thinking as it's a high pressure area on the car.

If you are putting it lower or further out you will need to mod the support bar that supports the bonnet latch as mine has about 7mm clearance at the bottom, also keep in mind the pin in the bonnet will hit it if you mount I too high and far out. You can also mount it infront of the oil cooler like my jb, but I hate that setup as the front bar blocks all the air flow and the previous owner cut the grill to install it and it looks shit.

Some food for thought :beer

Gormzz if your interested in the full kit I may sell the full set up including:
- Std manifold
- Td05 14b turbo
- Cooler piping and silicone joins
- Intercooler
- Custom dump pipe with screamer

Turbo has at awsome response and almost no lag, no free play. To fit it you may have to remove the AC system and cut a 2.5" hole in the rad support as seen in my earlier posts

Also have the intercooler kit off my JB to suit std turbo but may require slight modification to suit the type 1 JA injection? and will require hole to be drilled into rad support (same as above)

I'm considering selling as my JB has recieved a full rebuild, worked head and cams with MPI and will get a larger turbo, and the blue drifter will receive a fully rebuilt And worked Motor, therefore this set up will be no longer required.
