Evo III compressor wheel

Post by enthuzed »

Looks like I've got to buy a new compressor wheel for my TD05 EVOIII big 16G.

I noticed there are also TD05HR 16G6 wheels one can buy with the same dimensions. What's the difference?

Where can I purchase wheels for a good price?

The units are built to such close tolerances that I'm wondering if I need to get the unit rebalanced or if I can I just refit the new wheel by lining up some sort of locating marks on it.

Who knows more about this?

The R stands for reverse rotation like from a evo 4 onwards, and yes you will need to get it balanced
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.
