Job vacancies

Post by panda »

I noticed recently a post for a job vacancy in Melbourne. I think that this forum is perfect for listing these positions by members of this forum. The company I work for regularly has vacancies, & encourages the staff to promote these vacancies any way we can. Maybe it could just be in "General Discussion" or maybe a whole new category could be created. If people want this kind of thing, I could list several a week, or if this is not the place to do this, then thats fine with me also.

No there isn't really any adverts. But we are basically looking for Game Play programmers. So you need to be able to code in C/C++ and be able to work well with Designers and Artists. If you have any examples of your work, send them through to jobs@halfbrick.com.

If it's a Brisbane interview, I would be the one most likely interviewing you if they like your examples. For an example of what we are after, just look at any of our games, Fruit Ninja or Jetpack Joyride are great examples. They are my games, and well my team is the most successful team at the company and we are striving to have more people like us. (Don't meaning to brag. Just saying if you want a job, aim for what we have delivered).

Hope that helps.
