Only put the Golf lip in because it was all I could think of, have a few more ideas now. Has the early front on it too, makes things a bit more difficult.

(linked because it's fooking huge, lol)
Mu'fuckin' huge bosozoku lip LOL (just so we know, this is in here as a pisstake :P)
EUDM Sapporo
GK GSR maybe?
Or I could make up a cardboard template and make something up out of sheetmetal.
Anything I decide on will need work, so I dunno yet. Might even decide to just leave it and not have anything.

"Matchported intake...."
hmmm... be shure not to make the porting too wide, that will onley make it worse the a "straight cut"
And I still think you should go high comp and E85!!!!
"Lack of $$$ is a major issue here...."
...and everywherelse!!!!
Here in Swedski we have a well renonomated company called
RP-glasfiber, making shitloads of fiberglas for ex. Volvos...!!!
Take a look @:
Volvo 240 R Sport Frontspoiler
Volvo 240 Spoiler (...racing)... and maby overkill?
"boot spoiler" 240 goup A (By Realcar ):
I have been thinking of this one and the (/if?) fitting om my Starion...
Fitting it tight to the hatch with no (or small) raisers would prob be nice...

By matchportiing I mean matching the intake ports in the manifold to the ones in the head, which are pretty much stock. Won't make much of a difference, but it gives me something to do :Pfugazi wrote:"Matchported intake...."

Cheers for the link, doubt I'll get anything from them but I'll have a look anyway :)

Progress. Dirty engine bay is dirty.
Sister's boyfriend and I got stuck in and put the 4G52 back in it. Has a heavy-duty clutch+flywheel and a rebuilt narrow Jap 5spd, other than that it's exactly the same as when I pulled it out.
2.6 needs new pistons, went a bit too hard with the wire wheel whilst cleaning the carbon off them and munted the ringlands. Yay me. Note to self, use a wire brush next time.
Needs trans oil, hook up the tailshaft, exhaust manifold so flameage doesn't melt the brake reservoirs, few other little things then it'll be good enough to see if it'll start. If so, cheering.
After that, needs brake fluid+bleed, hook the exhaust up and air in the RHR tyre before it's driveable again.
Should be driveable by Monday at the latest, would be done today but it's raining and I have nowhere undercover to work on the car.

Drove this. Took it easy because it didn't have a battery clamp and the flywheel stone guard/dustcover thing was missing, but still. Feels good.
Did do one pull to redline in 2nd though, goes surprisingly well considering it's got a basically stock 2L Astron in it. Mild cam, 2.6 carb and the exhaust are the only mods. Could do with a less restrictive intake, stiffer valve springs and a bit more compression.
Made an exhaust for it as well, out of mild steel with a stick welder lol. Was a pain in the arse to make, had to do some cutting and welding so it went where it was supposed to, but, surprisingly, it turned out pretty well in the end. Unknown set of 4-2-1 extractors straight into a 2" in/out 18" hotdog, then 2" straight back to a stock rear muffler. Sounds good, surprisingly. Not too loud until you crack the secondary, gets a bit raucous after that. Not terribly so, but I imagine it's going to get annoying on long trips. Especially considering that it's going to be sitting on about 3.5k at 110 with the 4.6's in.
List, everything that I want done for it to be finished:
Find another exhaust clamp
Flywheel stone guard/dustcover thingamajig
Reverse sensor connections (broke the wires off the sensor while I was screwing said sensor into the gearbox, FML)
Wheel alignment (x34977634958735893475, didn't bother to keep track of where it was set when I did the tie rods so it wanders a bit)
Front ride height
Money
Rego
34ADM, then 36mm CV's/40mm Webers/Dellortos/Mikunis/whatever/2x32/36 on a factory downdraft manifold
Valve springs
4.6:1 locker
Skids
Starion struts, shortened, R31 shocks, lowered springs
Starion brakes
Fix rust
Paint, will probably go with white
14x7.5/8J Hoshinoes, 185/60's
Might put together a 2.6 for it in the future, might not. We'll see how this 2L goes for now.
