Post by ssb2005 »

Hi

I am after a few bits for my 82 JA Starion, or ideas where to get them from

I will think of more later, happy to pay by direct deposit, i have a paypal account also if i can find its password.

Window garnish (windscreen and hatch surrounds)
Passenger side mirror glass
Sun visors to suit grey interior, black will be ok too
Key barrel and lock assembly.
Throttle body rebuild kit
Interior rear view mirror that isn't loose.
Power window motor - i have tried rebuilding mine but the worm gear etc is buggered

Thanks

wow that was quick, im guessing the TB repair kits are as hard to get as the cordia ones? Mine is leaking like a seive and a slilastic repair works but isnt ideal.

Im up in Pt Augusta in South Australia, happy to get stuff posted, postcode is 5700.

You can rebuild the throttle body with patience and a bearing shop nearby.

There is only one reason they leak fuel and silatic will not help it.

The fuel leaks past the oring that is on the top of the fuel injector. It then fills up the cavity where the injector lives and leaks (pours) out the hole where your wires go through.

I'll search here and look for pictures of when I rebuilt mine to describe how it can be fixed.
