Thinking about changing out some parts while my car is in a million pieces.
B pillar vents, stay with JA ones or change to JB/D ones?
Side mirrors, stay with JA and the rubber boots (MMC ones) or change to US spec ones, solid body (but no power adjustment)?
What have others done? Pics gratefully accepted.
Also....how the fluck do you fit a stock JA chin spoiler on when you have a standard (well...US spec) intercooler? Anyone done it?
JA stuff or update to JB/D stuff

I definitely prefer the later model side vents, much cleaner looking, go that route :).
US widebody mirrors look awesome, but apparently you need to do some modifications (the nature of what, I have no idea) to get the glass at the right angles to work for a RHD car. I've got a spare power adjuster switch thing that goes in the center console you can Have, I got it for free from JAS because it was stuffed, but I've since taken it apart and fixed it.
Plus, widebody mirrors are awesome because they're heated... And that's just cool :).
However, JB/JD electric mirrors would be an easier swap, as they're for a RHD car already. I've just put a set on mine and am super happy with them. I think mine are from a japanese widebody, but they should be the same.
Not sure on the front spoiler... Possibly try to find one of the coolers that mounts totally flat?

My 2 bobs worth.
If you stick with a JA bar, then stick with the JA side vents.
JA side mirrors would look OK if they were colour coded with the car and have the raised perimeter area left in black. My widey side mirrors
play up sometimes and I gotta say you rarely have to adjust them. So any mirrors could be used as the electric function is not essential.
However, the conquest mirrors need major adjustment on the passenger side! Either adjust the internal mechanism or re-align the glass I suppose...
The intercooler bolts in the factory position but the power steering lines are in the way...just carefully bend them out of the way.
Ditch the chin spoiler and replace it with a fibreglass Redzone spoiler!
So the front chin spoiler is the only thing I would change to JD! As all my cars are later model ones, it's refreshing to see the JA stuff. Just as long it's in good nick!
