Post by JA83 »

Well here it is! recently been painted down the entire Lh side, thanks to asians hitting me in a renta car... paid a bit extra and got the front and rear bars done.

Cars pretty stock, has recently had the head gasket done, exhaust manifold machined etc etc. Has a boost tee, JB water cooled turbo, 24mm front sway bar, king springs, 30mm lengthened lca's, rca's, new bushes, wide body tie rod ends blah blah

also has new 17x8 and 17x9 +15 wheels with 205/40 and 235/40 feddy 595's

has tinted tail lights and thats it!

saving up for d2's next, lowering it some more and a 3 inch mandrel exhaust!

Looks very nice.

What was the reason for lengthening the LCA's 30mm?

Ahhh, I see. Cool :).

How do you plan to modify the steering knuckles? Shorten for more lock?

Any pictures of the interior?

Thanks guys! I was sceptical om how the wheels looked at first, but now I love them.. So most people love the d2's.. I was thinking on installing heavier springs on them before I put them in. whats the spring rates that they come with?

Spring rates are 8.7 kg/mm F/5.3 kg/mm R from the factory. They're a touch too soft in the rear for track work I'm betting, but I really like how they are on the road. You've got lower profile tyres than me also, which will make a bit of difference.

They're a standard size spring though, so you can have new ones made up later on pretty easily and cheaply.
