a low km engine doesn't really appreciate in value unless the mitubishi museum wants it.

A low km car still has a chance. Seriously, I don't know why everyone's making the paint out to be such an issue. You obviously have the skills to paint it well, so I don't think you'll have trouble restoring it to original colour when the time comes to sell.

As much as I'm of the school of thought that a car like the starion was made to do as much track time as possible, this one might be better off kept stored and pampered. You can get another one pretty cheap to have fun with, don't you think?

It is, however, YOUR car after all is said and done, so you do what suits you :beer

p.s. the guy who put it in the paddock cos he wanted his bommodore under the carport. One word: douche.

I hope his children put him out in the paddock when he gets lung cancer from smoking his cheap shit commy tires

How much would it go for if I did clean up the engine bay, re-paint it silver and re trim the factory faded seats?

I dont really want to destroy it and it does drive soo much better than my old 267000Km JA, but Im still hesitant to tear out the motor and replace it with the EVO only to regret it later. :x

Not enough more than a high km one.

Do people really care what the odometer says? If so you need more Jap imports. (where odometers mean nothing)

A collectable car is normally original in all aspects including paint.

Everything you remove to make it a race car put into the 267000km one, then it will drive as nice.
