Anyone in QLD with a DOHC in their Starion that will let me have a very quick punt to feel the performance? if not, I am always willing to sit in passangers seat.
In saying that as well, anyone with a 4G54 with MPI. Same thing, I want to compare the torque etc. I am not chasing huge power, more chasing performance for track and need to make a informed decision instead of everyone's opinions.
I still have 6 months before I drop the money on the car, and want to spend that time researching.
4G63 DOHC located in QLD???

Dunno about dyno graphs telling the story about how it 'feels'. I had 240kw's with my TC and noticed the diffence even over the MPI DASH on the track.
Then just to really get the 'feel' I did a couple of blockies a month or so ago in MRB's TME 6.5 with the stroker kit and about another 10-20 kw's over what I had and man the get up and go was amazing, especially on the road where the difference was even more pronounced. (ie the track doesnt necessarily show up dead slow to fast as its more gradual increments in speed.
The TC conversion is worth every cent in these cars. The right cams and turbo dialled in and you have a jet. Its like the difference between a 4 cyl and a 6 cylinder - thats the quantum step up in performance imho.
Go for it woody, the TC is the way to go.

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.
