Its alive! Roberts starion on its first real drive

Post by robert26t »

For the first time in many many years my car has seen the freeway.

I brought this car last year as pretty much a run down, rolling shell from somebodys paddock. Its far from finished but I got it to a stage where It can be driven so I took advantage of the public holiday and the lack of traffic and drove it to work.

50k's later.. I made it! :) :)

Jason: I just had somebody drooling over it then (ive left it at work). No offers yet though lol

Dave: That is probably why, I snapped them up ;)

Its the standard colour, New safari red i think its called. I havent touched the paint yet. It needs a good buff. ideally new paint. I just had my daily completly resprayed and that has turned me off getting this car done due to the dramas I had with it :(

V4 = 4 stud

V5 = 5 stud

:beer

there was also another similar one called Versa which had a centre cap over the studs..

After reading the V4/V5 thing, I thought it would be as simple explanation as that! I really do like the mesh wheel look and have been
eyeing out these V5's on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300641521565 ... 1423.l2649
I may sacrifice my SHP 8's & 9 for them!

BTW I believe Hoony has the Versa style Simmons on her car!
