It seems that young P plate driver Bernard Tomic has been getting some unwelcome attention from the boys in blue while driving 'his'? bright orange BMW M3 V8 around the Gold Coast. Now who would have thought that something like that would happen lol.
Unconfirmed reports say that the exemption only to be used to get to training,gym etc But does anyone seriously think that that is the only thing it will be used for and he won't be tempted to flaunt it about or give it a bootfull on occasions?? ( if you believe that can i sell you an opera house or bridge in my real estate portfolio I have for sale )
I suspect it is a promo car supplied by BMW and IF so one wonders why they chose it for him given that exemptions are required for him to drive it rather than give him say a 320 in the same bright orange colour witth black mags?
While he may be a hot shot on the courts he is almost certainly like the vast majority of motorists who never aspire to become drivers by taking additional coaching/training after getting their P's.

We know Tomic as my brother used to be his fitness trainer. It is his BMW that he bought with his own money. It wasn't given to him in any way. But knowing Tomic, he is an arrogant kid who thinks he is all that. I can guarantee you that he is using it for personal use every day. But also in saying that, down towards the spit, is actually where he used to train opposite marina mirage. But he no longer trains there, so its pretty obvious he was going for a 'cruise' down the spit to show it off. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
I am in no way defending him. But at the same time, I was very glad I never had any restrictions on me having my P's. Because I got to own a Starion
