UPDATE I have tried 3 different brands of transmission oils in an attempt to reduce the baulky/notchy gearchange feel They were Penrite, Castrol synthetic auto oil as reccomended by Mal Wood & Fuchs who kindly donated 10 litres for me to try.All were driven app 100k'swith no improvement.
After reading all the hype about Redline I bit the bullet and orded a 1 gallon from GL Lubricants $114.00 delivered ( Bursons wanted $157 trade)and can report that it has made about a 50% improvement in the change feel.Would love to have a test drive in a series 5 to be able to compare the shift feel
PS I have found Extreme motorsport in Toombull, Brisbane who sell the LWSP oil for $99.00 a gallon

Yep, Redline lightweight shockproof here too.

I run a S5 close ratio RX7 box.

noob question.. what applications require the lightweight shockproof vs the super-lightweight shockproof, vs the heavy?

Where would you like me to start.

It depends on alot of variables. The Redline oil guide is a ghood basis, but it really depends on box mods and torque etc.

The more I drive it it seems to be a little better each time so I don't need to replace the box at all now :D :beer
