WTD Axle shaft (4 bolt)

Post by Chipp »

I am trying to locate a Axle shaft for my starion as I have managed to sheer the one in mine.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

They're generally referred to as "half shafts" or "drive shafts".

You must have some decent power to have sheared one? I put around 350rw HP through mine and have never had an issue.

I have a couple here if you get desperate, but I'm in Vic, so you'll be better off grabbing one off someone local. I wouldn't think they're worth much, just make sure the universal joints are ok when you find one.

Hi Lummy

Its not the half shaft its actually the axle shaft inside the stub axle assembly. The rally car and locked Diff decided to chew it up and spit out.
