i'm actually trying to get into android app programming (used to be a java programmer way back when). Care to explain that in a little more detail woody? What crazy stuff can you do on the iphone that's missing on android?

on iPhone we can debug, but android you can't. It doesn't really support a debugger. There is one out there but it doesn't work.
We develop everything in c++. But we have some interface code for different platforms. For instance, iPhone we have some Objective C code, and Android uses some Java code. But 90% of the code is c++.
Hijack over. If you want to talk more, just PM me or start another thread if others are interested :)
