Rad - Bitter dissapointment doesnt even go halfway to how Im feeling at the moment. It was 6 months of hard slog to make it, only for bad luck to hamper my efforts. It happened as I drove down the road just to check on the afr, I didnt pass 3k rpm and made it about 100m before I had to pull over.

Wantsom - It looks like the cam has jumped a couple of teeth, also a retaining clip has come off the rocker which is where the oil is leaking into the cylinder.

For those reading, theres nothing to read between the lines, the engine was in excellent condition when I received it, looks like some bad luck on my behalf but this whole build has been riddled with them.

Bao,

I'm utterly speechless. Is there any explanation as to why the cam moved.

I feel for you mate.

Greg Im not sure of the cause, Im guessing its the tensioner, but I wont know until I pull of the timing cover. I dont plan on working on the car for awhile though as it would just frustrate me.

I land 10pm Thursday and leave 2pm Sunday, I would definately be up for meeting up.
