Just an update - no one has called to offer to buy the car......

So it was just a dream :D
1985 JB - owned from new.
1986 JD - used to own one.......

hey im 18 and love both my starions, if you want parts i have a spare car here im parting. the other 1 is devouring all my cash but after a respray and DOHC motor, and maybe some tastefull wheels she will be beautiful. alot of work ahead though but with a genuine 42,000kms on the clock and full service history im sure it will be worth the blood and sweat
