1320ft's 2.3L Strip Warrior, Cage is in PG8
I actually picked up the box second hand from a reliable seller.
But Norm at Northmead Auto's will check it over and after we have dyno'ed the car, the converter will come out and be given to Slingshot to be checked.
The box allready has the 6 cyl input shaft and clutch packs installed. Plus has been manualised and reverse pattern.

Stall speed is something that will depend on final diff ratio, cam profile etc.

This is the diff that will be going in.
It is only a Borg Warner, but its got some goodies inside it that has allowed it to run deep into the 8 sec zone.

Bar work has been picked up and is ready to notch and weld in.
I couldnt believe how quick they turned it around. Had the call back within 24hrs saying it was ready to pick up.
Its a behind the dash kit, 6 point in Mild Steel.

So I am at somewhat of a crossroads today.
After spending the last two days out at Superlap I am somewhat tempted to put a good IRS setup back in the car, get a manual and set the car up to do both drags and circuit racing. Obviously via auto back in when I go drag racing and manual for circuit.

sorry to pull a cliche on you, but i think that you will find that if you make it a jack of all trades, it will not master either.
having said that, time attack does look like awesome fun, doesn't it??

No worries mate.Sargeant_Khan wrote:Aaron, while the cage piping is out of the car, would you mind weighing it all for me?

Yes, I am still a drag racer at heart, I would like to be able to enjoy the car a little more than the occasional wed night, TnT & Jambo etc.
While I ponder over this, I have asked a CAMS scrutineer customer of mine, what extra bars would be required to be added to my cage, to run superlap.
