Accelerator cable

Post by d1staz »

Hi all, just curious to know what type of accelerator cable people are using. Are they custom made or from another car? Had a look through the other threads but couldn't find any specific details.

Hi d1staz & welcome to Austarion. I've found imports (jap/nz) run a longer cable as standard, and I've heard some use an extension on the existing one or most commonly done is to go custom.

This guy, http://www.autocables.com.au, did a great job with my custom MPI accelerator cable.
Does all kinds of custom cables & repairs at a reasonable price, quick turnaround too.

assuming you are looking specifically for one for a twink in a starion, the one on mine seems to be standard - no mods, just goes over the head..

If a gay guy drives a Starion, does that make a Starion a gay car?
