SAU:NSW DRAG DAY - 18 September 2011

Post by NXTIME »

Just been informed that SAU:NSW is planning a private drag day at Sydney Dragway for a maximum of 50 cars. Cost is $200 for members and $220 for non-members per car with $50 for an additional driver of the same car. Event will run from 9am until 4pm with a break for lunch. That is 8 hours of racing with only 50 cars max so you will get PLENTY of runs and very little queuing (unlike the 3 or 4 runs on a Wednesday night for $50)

Cars will be scrutineered and you will need to have long pants & sleeves plus enclosed footwear, and an approved helmet (see www.andra.com.au or www.wsid.com.au)

Cars cannot run faster than 11.00 and any car running 11.00 - 11.99 will require an ANDRA licence which can be purchased on the day.

These events are usually booked out fairly quickly, however I would imagine it would be in 2 or 3 months - so plenty of notice for everyone.

UPDATE V2.0: New date: 18 SEPTEMBER 2011

Will do, Aaron.

I offered to help the SAU:NSW executive with organising it, but the president is an arsehat and wanted to do it his own way :D
