Depends on whether or not you have the manifolds, ecu and loom?
If you only have the motor then someone is going to have to custom up an intake manifold and get a custom ECU and loom.

Although in saying that... DASH motors IMO are way better then the 8V motors.

Thats very true. I have the motor here and its in a J.A. Some one has wired up the whole J.A system to the dash motor with the J.A injection on to the dash motor intake manofold. It runs quite well tho.

Interesting...
I have a DASH block in my Starion and the DASH head sitting here. Have been wanting to get it in there.

Be interesting to see how they wired it up... Can you tell if it's the DASH ECU or the 8V one?

Phil (dirtygalant) would be interested in this to.

DASH ECU wont even have the same plugs as a JA/type I wiring loom, in fact I think even one of the plugs is different than the JD/type II wiring loom also. The pin outs are quite different also, there is no E101 knock control on a DASH motor and the dizzy is optical pickup and has four wires going straight to the ECU rather than two wires.

I have two DASH ECUs here and a DASH injection unit but no wiring loom for it - I've got two plug connectors for one of the ECU sockets but still need another one or two plugs for the other socket (same as the JD/type II large plug), along with the plugs/sockets for the sensors/connectors coming off the TBI in order to make up a wiring loom or two.

It is a strange set up on this car. Some one went out of there way to get this engine working. I am thinking of keeping the engine and make some custom manofolds for it. Then put it in one of my J.B's. It should make a little more power then the 8v head...
