Aaron, that's a very nice setup, however, it is too much for this car (for now ;)) I have heard of the engine builder - I am sure he had a very fast Sigma a while back.

John, I am up for a cruise anytime. I am sure there are a couple of others that are willing, ay Shannon? :D

:beer

NachoMan,

I paid much less than what the seller originally wanted. Having said that, most of the JDM widies are around the YEN700,000 to YEN900,000 mark, with low km/full service book examples in the YEN1.3-1.4 million mark.. However, the catch is, you need to find one that is built in 1988 (of which there would probably be only 200 left). If this car didn't come up, I would have bought the one for sale in Aus.

I recently saw one go for YEN180,000, however, it was a 1989 model and also had engine issues, so cannot be registered here.

This is the main reason that these cars will maintain their value and (IMHO) will appreciate.

I plan on keeping this one and modding it for a bit more go.

Soft? You haven't seen my GTR have you? :D

I want something comfortable and reliable. I'll leave the street/drag car for the Nissan.

Gave the widey a polish and took some snaps:

Will get the car detailed soon and touch up some bits that I am not completely happy with.

Crikey, that's the cleanest I've seen of any one of your cars :D

It's come up very well! To my eyes, I reckon the stance with the lowered suspension is 'pretty good' :)
I know some would like to see it dropped lower...

Thanks, guys.

Yes, I agree, the springs have settled very well. I wouldn't want it any lower at the front, however, I think the rear needs some more lowering :D

Might be time to fit the D2's on the rear ;)

I am up for a cruise any weekend - day or night

Very nice widey...no way in hell of getting up my dirt road dropped that low though haha.

If only I lived in a city where lowering cars wouldnt mean losing half your exhaust, your body kit and your intercooler (probably  ) lol

Anyhow very nice staz, hopefully I get mine road worthy soon, would like to go for a cruise sometime with alot of you guys, see some of these cars in flesh :)

Thanks, Rob and Damo.

The car has 1.5" lowered springs, but the 19's actually re-raise the car a little, so it isnt that much lower than stock - I actually have 165mm clearance at the front spoiler, but because it extends out it does rub on my driveway entry. Another reason I want to lower the rear more as it will give more clearance at the front spoiler.

Ok, so when and where is the next cruise?

Shall we head north this time?
