How did you go with the engineers cert on your cage? I didnt think you could have side intrusion bars welded in and keep your road rego?

I have two questions about the brakes, mostly directed to redzone:
Bao's question of bracket costs & Fugazi's question whether they'll fit under 16" rims.

Answer for SK: It depends on the Rules of your state, but in Victoria the rules are along the lines of being acceptable if they don't significantly impede getting out of the vehicle. They will generally accept this style of cage because the intrusion bars sit very low at the door opening near your feet. Furthermore, if the front of the seat squab is level or higher than the intrusion bar at that point it strengthens your case.
My suggestion is to get the car passed with the factory seats then swap the race seats in afterwards.
They didn't even mention anything about mine at all, but I presented it with current registration which probably helped.

brakes bracket cost i'll have to look back at my invoices and see! no they wont fit under 16's, and they need wheels with a high caliper clearance.
