Starship
Well after nearly 4 years building i guess i better show my baby off. From day 1 I only ever wanted to build a track/street car on a tight budget and i reason i have done pretty bloody good :)
First of all HUGE thanks to Derek, Dave and Oldfart for a lot of advice help and second hand parts :)
Ok from back to front
Custom rear fiberglass bar
BMW M3 race wing
2.? inch straight through exhaust with cannon
Heavy duty sway bar
Koni shocks
Vented rotars
6 point roll cage
4 point harnesses
Sexy side skirts
Water injection system
12 inch sub with 800 W amp (removable for track days)
Bucket seats
Extra gauges and the Wolf controler
Wolf 3Dv3
Multi point injection
Frankinstine turbo
Custom exhaust manifold and dump pipe
Standard engine minus balance shafts
Fully sic intercooler set up with showoff valve
Vented rotars with 6 pot calipers
Custom front fiberglass bar
Dual headlights with angel eyes
Pretty bloody kewl indercators

mmmm very strange, I never took a picture of the front breaks
This is what it looks like with the wheel on :) The breaks were done by Redzone, very good work and a reasonable drive in drive out price too. I belive the calipers are from a R32 with custom brackets, if oyu want to know more PM RZ

The roll cage, seat and belt mounts were done by Eddy a friend of OldFarts
Cost $1900 and he had the car for 3 weeks. As he only builds them in the weekends you have to wait a while to get booked in but OMG the work is mad good!
Um engineering is on the todo very soon list, but Eddy put me on to the guy who certifies his works so cant forsea any problems

nope, this is a cheaper and better setup, 342mm R32 GTR brembo option discs, and some custom brackets mounting the R32 GTS-T 4 pot calipers.RiceThief wrote:Ahh thanks muttis, i remember the setup, i recall redzone using rav4 disc and narrowed nissan calipers.

Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.
