You look into buying some wheels for your Starion and the ones that you like... you can't get in NZ :glare:

I was looking at some SSR's that Phil (dirtygalant) has, but depending on his circumstances I may or may not get them.

So I decided I like Rota Grids as seen on Mr Benders car http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.php?t=9873
Made an enquiry to see how much they were etc... and it seems that no-one does them in NZ

What are they worth overseas?

Maybe try contacting the manufacturer?

Starions are a disease, the only cure is poverty.

Not as much as when some red headed slag tells you there will be no carbon tax under a government she leads and then we all end up paying more for everything including fuel all for no use to environment whatsoever. :x :x

I dealt with www.18racing.com directly through email a couple of years ago for a set of 16x8 rotas, they are in California I think. They were great to deal with, I payed via paypal and they airmailed a set of 4 to me in Western Australia.

I managed to get a different offset and colour that wasn't available through anyone in OZ and had them shipped to my door for exactly the same as the local retail cost (think I actually skipped import duty).

If I had had any avenue to aquire a set of SSR's in a good size/offset for a reasonable cost I would have. Brand of choice for the factory Japanese group A cars makes them King Starion wheels in my opinion.

Useless trivia: I've actually owned a set of 4 SSR XR4's in 15x6.5 for years that I have on my TA22 celica, after I got my Starion I checked the spec sticker on the inside of the rim only to find a +18 offset. Obviously a good chance this set started life on a Jap Staz, que TWILIGHT ZONE theme tune!
