Will skyline wheels fit on a staz?

as in the r32 non-turbo models....

if they fit then i should be able to pick up a set of 2nd handies pretty easily....


only issue might be offsets, i know nothing about offsets or how they work.

offsets determine how far in or out the wheel sits. i think the more negative the number, the further out the wheel sits.?. Theres a starion here with skyline wheels and no spacers, he said it was a straight swap from an r31. can't confirm it tho :(

I believe R30 skyline wheels are +35mm so at a guess R32 wheels will be similar. They will sit in further.

cant really afford to buy new wheels and i just wanna get rid of the standard ugly's.........

Hot rodders used to do that in the 50s, I think they called them "flippers", maybe the old boys here might remember them.

Not many wheels do fit, it's not a very common offset.
RWD celica rims will fit (tho they're uglier), as well as the MkII supra wheels (look like smaller versions of the widebody mags).

There's a few others, but you don't really have many options

Best bet would be to find a used set of mag wheels from an Datsun or early Toyota RWD such as 71-85 Celica/Corolla/Corona. I'm pretty sure that the early Skyline wheels have the right PCD, but the offset is wrong. Tthey should still fit but will look weird as they will sit too far in.

i have wheels that have +35 offset and 10mm spacers(comes to +25offset) that looks ok but not good they sit too far in

one question for my self would 20mm spacers but too mutch pressure on the wheel bearings in hard driving ,donuts and stuff like that?

I would worry about the wheel studs as well. You will need longer and stronger ones to cope with the added distance. Also wheels are supported on the centre hub, not the wheel studs. Unless the spacers have the right supports in place, all the weight of the car and it's movements are on the studs. It's only a matter of time before they shear off!!!! It's not very pretty when a wheel comes off, goes under the rear of the car and launches it upwards. Comes back down with a thud.

I agree. You will need to have longer wheel studs and also need hub-centric spacers fitted so that the wheel spacers are centred and have the load spread onto the hub and not the studs. Otherwise, you could use bolt on hub spacers.

Also, I have seen some bolt on hub spacers that allow a change from 4 stud to 5 stud. This will create a larger chance of finding wheels to fit the(later non-Aus) Starion's 5 x 114.3 pattern as most large Jap cars have this stud pattern.
