Race interior?

Post by FST4RD »

Just wondering what standard interior parts do people run in their track cars?
At the moment I have Dash, roof lining, the center consul (only the compartment part, I like resting my arm in it), Door skins and the piece that sits just behind the doors that goes from the floor to the roof.

Do people use the roof lining?
What about the door skins?

Thanks :D

What you have depends largely on the regulations for your track events and what class you wish to run. If you've already been doing some racing, check with the organisers or the race series or perhaps your car club. Hope that helps.

Robin, mine has headlining removed, running an alloy dash with standard cluster plus extra gauges on the rollcage dash bar, alloy door trims with strap handles.
Other than that just seat, extinguishers and harness
Ditch the centre consul as theres no way u wont have both hands on the wheel down the back strait, no time for armrests! :beer

Thanks Cookie!
How tall are you?
I'm about 6.1" and looking at putting a full cage in, however I'm just wondering how easy it's actually going to be to get in and out?
