I agree with Greg about PF.

It does provide some good laughs though. Just read the ppolroom threads for evidence :D

Most recently, a number of QLD PF'ers have both individually and as a group gone out and helped those who have been affected by the floods - and not just other PF'ers, but the general public, which is awesome to see.

Having said this, nothing beats this forum, or as Greg said, "online car club", for community feel. Plenty of top guys and girls in our little part of the internet car world. :beer

If I had bought the used RX7 that I had the hots for but thought they were a bit too exy in my opinion and my no1 son Guru (who now says that I should give it to him as either I'm too old or it's too fast/powerfull for me) had not said why not have a look at the Starion that's for sale down the coast I would have missed out on the great bunch of people that make up my Starion family & there are quite a few of you whose freindship, opinions & advice I value highly.

Austarion is a great site and great community, I've made some good friends thanks to the site. The only bad thing I can think of is that it hasn't been updated in a long time and with admin being busy with their lives I dont think it will change anytime soon.

The forum software needs updating as it's pretty old. Deeks has the keys but as he's overseas it's a bit hard to get things happening. I'll annoy him again and see what can be done.

And thanks yet again to everyone on here. I'm so glad nobody has a better than thou attitude and just gets on with the business of enjoying these cars.

Now that I think about it, when deeks left oz, flappa not coming in often and cookie and tmz moving away from starions, alpos has been doing a great job moderating the forums.

I don't think I have seen Flappa in quite a while.

Who is deeks?? :p

I agree that the forum needs an update in many respects. Al, can deeks give you a copy of the keys so that this might be done??

With excess age does not come more wisdom. Yes, you're banned.
Happy birthday for the other day too...sorry for the late notice. Hope you got some nice shorts. :beer

I'll try Charlie. See what he thinks about getting another set of keys cut :)

Thanks Bao :)

Getting the photo hosting would also be awesome...
I'd even kick in some cash to get the working...
