These guys are obviously highly skilled, thats some amazing engineering there but let me get this straight.

It doesnt use a 4g63 block ?
it doesnt use 4g63 pistons, conrods, gudgeon pins or crank ?
It doesnt use a 4g63 cam ?
It doesnt use a 4g63 clutch ?
It doesnt use a 4g63 head ?
I am sure it wouldnt use 4g63 rockers, cam gear, etc

Yet it's a 4g63 ? Thats like saying you can get 20,000lbs of thrust from a cessna 182 engine, you just throw everything away and replace it with a rolls royce jet engine. Im not criticising what they have done as it is a amazing but in reality your not getting that much power from are 4g63 are you ? Its an entirely engineered package designed to take the loads but it just happens to look like a 4g63.

Still uses a 4G63 head and rocker cover :D However, they are designing their own billet head for future use.

I highly doubt anything else OEM can be used

Everything else is custom made. And with such technology and skill available to them, why wouldn't you do it?

The billet alluminium block is actually made in Australia by Bullet and 'only' costs $8,000.

each Ti rod is $3,300, pistons would be $1,500 each, crank is $32K.

So this definitely isn't a cheap exercise :)

I'd say well over 100K in parts.

Brent Rau got 1400hp from his 4G63 and it was a mitsu block, he was only using 86psi though LOL

plus V8's have been using aftermarket blocks for years, and they still get called whatever they're based upon..

Ah, you mean chequebook racing! Its ok though, once I get the gem off low boost it'll be running a lot quicker than 11.5 ;)
