Noltec Camber/Caster Plates GB CLOSED $$ is Now Due
Noltec's Front Camber/Caster Plates
Picture is curtesy of Cookie these are the plates installed in his car (Money pit)
OK guys I am opening the GP for the Nolte's camber /Caster plates. We can get them for AU$360.00 plus AU$17.00 post (through Airmax, overnight) if we get 20 or more orders. Retail Price is AU$430.00
They offer TWO styles, A "STREET" and a "RACE" version.
The STREET version has a poly surounded spherical bearing for cushion and noise suppression. The RACE version is a SOLID steel casing for the Spherical bearing AND it add additinal NEG. Camber adjustment over the street version.
Noltec’s street adjustable strut plates permit 20mm negative/10mm positive camber and 10mm positive/10 mm negative caster adjustment and with the clubsport/RACE solid version permits a further 10mm of negative camber adjustment. These numbers are about the same as the ones I was looking at to achieve with the Mustang Plates I was working with (Camber Wise, caster was non adjustable with my design)
The strut plates can be easily adjusted by simply loosening the nuts which attach them to the strut tower. Once these clamping nuts are loosened the center slide plate can be relocated to any position in the adjustment window. Then just retighten the nuts and you are set to go.
AND YES ! They WILL work with BOTH OEM and Coil overs !
NOTE: You'll get MORE adjustement travel from coil overs than wiht OEM style springs due to limited space inside the strut tower.
So enough chit chat !
NOW.... the GP IS officially OPEN.
Thanks again to ALL of you guys for your support and for your patience.

Cookie...
I see you have MPI... ! NICE !
I am in the process of installing mine as well, I am missing a few parts but I have most of it allready stashed in my garage.
Those look pretty good ! Man if those work on the wide body we may be in business !
I may have had a bit too much to drink last night :beer BUT I cant seem to find the Noltec Website ! I looked through the web on a search and NOTHING. Can you direct me to their site please.
If these WORK on the WIDE BODY as well as the narrow body Starions we may JUST have to put a Group Purchase together to get a better price. And this will save me all the design issues I am comming into problem with.
Oh Cookie... How DO you adjust the camber and the caster ? I did not see ANY bolt or screw that you loosen or tighten to adjust ?
AGAIN maybe is the :beer talking but I cant see how it adjusts .
Tahnks again buddy.
Update !
OK I found it thanks !
I am e-mailing them NOW to see if I can get a vissual of what the plates look like off the car and ask al sorts of questions.
Thanks again
Oscar

Oscar, to adjust the camber/castor you loosen off the 3 strut tower nuts. This allows the center (gold) plate to be moved between the 2 blue plates. With the camber and castor set you retighten the 3 strut tower nuts and the moveable gold plate is sandwiched between the blue plates and held in place.
Yes they will fit a widebody Starion.
Part number is NS44044S

Cookie thanks ALOT for the info on the plates.
I have contacted Noltec and waiting for a responce.
In the meantime MY CAMBER plates ARE ON HOLD pending responce from Noltec. And I may look into their design and see if I can reproduce it here for less.
