My mate's grandad had a great idea to save money, he decided to convert his petrol car to diesel by putting in 90% petrol, 10% diesel, then slowly weaning his car off petrol and on to diesel.

I'm going to try it in my starion next time i fill up, petrol is so damn expensive at the moment :wtf:

One of my Dad's mates did a classic...

He has a boat, a nice 30 footer in fact, and decided to put some petrol in it for the fishing trip the next day. So he starts filling the boat up, and the price clicks past $50. So he thinks hmmm, must have been pretty empty!
Anyhoo, he gets to the $70 mark before he investigates further. Upon investigation, he discovers that he's been filling up the actual boat itself through a fishing rod holder, rather than the tank through the outlet! :o

He got SOOOO much shit for that! rofl
