B Pillar vent gasket needed

Hey I m after the gaskets/plastic trim that goes around the b pillar vents anyone got two i can buy or swap for from my vast storage of parts ???

Surely lots of people have done this, maybe they didn't use anything at all...
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...

the trouble is i have found that when you use nothing there forms rust where th emetal rubs on the metal of the body. there must be an extrusion out there somewhee that will work and bend around the corners.

All the ones I see are either brittle & cracked or have shrunk to fit on properly.
Thinking about it, I would use those clear stick on things/nodules normally found on cabinets and have one placed on the rear of each corner.
That way any rubbing against paintwork is stopped.

Or you could try and use that All clear stuff, (sealant) use a very steady hand with a small bead. Let it dry in the sun for a day and hey presto!

Or you can try clear/translucent silicone/ coloured caulking compound that matches your car and let it dry overnight

Was just a question, I did Honda spares for a couple years and you would be supprised what was avaliable.

I've personally not tried to get anything for these from mitsu so I don't know.

mitsu sold all the ancient parts inventory years ago to preston motors in vic, who have since sold most of the starion stuff...

Ahh ok, I knew alot went to land fill years ago. Thought maybe a possiblity of back ordering from japan if there wasn't any locally.
