What mags for JA?

Post by JA83 »

well in the new year i have decided its time for some new wheels for my starion. Idealy i would like 9 inch wide at the back and 8's on the front, anywhere from 15 inch to 17 and possibly 18's.

my first option are performance challengers in 15x8-9 offset.... but i cant find any pics of starions with these rims??

also considering superlite copies(available in lots of sizes and offsets) of black drift techs, but unsure on offset issues on starions...

ideas?

drifteks wont fit on the front of a starion, offset fail.

get some XXR 513's in a 16X8 zero offset, they'll fit fine with rolled guards, maybe even unrolled ones :) plus they're freakin cheap!
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

the only widths they're available in +15 offset they're too wide to fit in the front, sorry dude but drifteks are a definite no-go.

so you like watanabe's but not XXR 513's? wtf? they're a direct copy!

I'm pretty sure that what redzone is saying is that the +15 offset rims of drift-teks are 9.5" wide and wouldn't fit on the fronts...

considering watanabe RS8's come in about 5 million different variations, these wheels are a direct copy of one of the variations...

so you can now get a +15 driftek in an 8?????

win!

yes all the other +15's i've seen are 9's or 9.5's
