FS: Redzone fibreglass smooth front bar (NSW)... SOLD

Post by TOMSUN »

Guys,

I was going to hang onto this as a spare but I need the cash.

Was $150. NOW $100...! (Need the cash...)

Note this one is from Redzones earlier batch and is not gel-coated.

Check photos for condition. A bit rough but not broken, no cracks, even though some of the photos look like it. (I'm not a good photographer :P )

Tomsun, how'd it get so rough looking?
Was this one of Dave's early bars? (I updated this post due to poor typing/word conversion on iPhone)

I guess it was one of the first?. I actually got it off flav about a year ago.
It's got a lot of dust & crap on it as it has been hanging on my wall for ages.

If there are any specific spots on the bar that you are really worried about, I'm happy to take more close up shots. :beer

Fibreglassers are stoners, those that arent, have the same brain capacity from the resin fumes... i'm looking for a better glasser than the one i was using..

having said all that, they wont break easily, that shit is flexible! they just take some prep work..
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

The bar is fine. It's the flash in the camera that doesn't do it justice.
Great looking mod to do to your Starion.

Just selling it cheap cause I'm needing the cash. Same with the Advanced Spoilers air dam, I wish I could hang onto it but I need the money instead.

Inspections welcome :beer

Not realy, its only a once off freight cost to get the moulds down here. Then I can send them wherever they need to go once made.

Thanks Mal. Not in any hurry for it but it'd be good to hear from him.

heard a rumor someone was saying that these needed to be split and widened to fit properly!

NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that was done on anthony's WIDEBODY, as the flare out of the front guards (which the flex in the stock bar accomodated) meant that these didnt fit straight on as the glass isnt flexible like urethane plastic!

these will fit straight onto any narrowbody starion without cutting etc, i have even tried one on another widey and it went on easy! anthony's car is the only one i know that needed modding to fit.

Sorry dave but mine needs stretching too! I have had it on both my old ja and my widey and it's about 10mm short both sides. Both cars were the same.
