I bought some parts on ebay

Post by Vulpes »

I just picked up the two side spoiler pieces for the 3 piece wing for 25 bucks each, no cracks or warping. the two I got from dirtysanchez are just too warped and cracked to use but the middle piece is perfect. Also picked up some, well I will when me and my sniping software win the auction for two black door sills. Noice.

It waits till just before the end of the auction and automatically gets a last minute shot in to win the auction. Way more fun to do it IRL though I reckon. Rush of blood, click, wait to see if you got in in time or someone else got in after you. Half the fun of fleabay

I hope you don't end up with a shipping issue if the side spoilers are from the US. Some post offices accept them, and others reject them due to exceeding max. dimensions. I think 105cm is the max and these are around 110cm!!

I had a set rejected and another accepted!! :)

So what happens when two bidders both have sniping software?

I agree, Al, it's so much better and more satisfying doing it without the aid of technology ;)

Sorta like the sniper battles I used to have with other homo campers on COD: MW2, you keep lining up and loosing carefully aimed shots while covering after each one until one of you is dead :P

sniping software is good because you dont have to be around if you have a job or something equally important to do. also your bid doesnt show up until three seconds and you can set your max bid. It stops the price of things being pushed up. As for doing it IRL then you have no chance against sniping software, i was beaten by it once and learned my lesson.

The title of this topic reminded me of that classic song:
