(WA) FS: JA Starion Twincam(price added)

Post by MR Bender »

hello

i think its time to sell the old girl as i dont use/work or even look at it anymore. :(

Car:
1982 ja starion

Engine:
vr4 twincam
hks 272 cams
hks cam gears
hks 680cc inj
trust cam belt
clear cam cover
hypertune inlet manifold/3in throttle body

sard FPR
bosch fuel pump
psi tested intercooler
turbosmart BOV
steam pipe exhaust manifold
tial 44mm wastegate
Garrett GT35R turbo BB
3in dump pipe to twin 2.5in
microtec MT8s

Drivetrain:
supra w55 gearbox
new clutch
new flywheel
JD rebuilt LSD 3.9 diff

Suspension/brakes:
custom coilovers koni spring/shocks hight adjustable
Kmac front /rear sway bars
wilwood front brakes
bigger front disks
front / rear disks drilled and slotted
braided front brake lines

interior:
evo front seats
Black carpet
redone door /boot carpet / door trims
autometer boost gauge in dash
cd player
microtec dash
momo steering wheel

exterior:
shockwave blue
custom made body kit
us style rear number plate thingy
us side indicator
us mirrors
ROTA Grid white 16 x 8 very good tyres
the only spot of rust has only just started to show in form of a bubble on the top of the passager door
paint is good but the tail gate has gone funny and the front bumper has cracked where the number plate use to sit and the corner of the bumper has paint missing from where i hit it with the work car.

well i think thats all
this car has been very good to me and alot of money and hard work has gone into this car over the past 6 years.
but the time has come to pass it onto someone.

this car has been tunned to go flat out so the tune is not good to drive around town.
(it could do with another tune and more boost)
it has made 355HP ATW at 6900rpm on 18PSI without a sweat
and has done a easy 13.20 at the drags with to much wheel spin.

dont want to sell parts but if someone wants to buy a rolling shell(everything but the motor/gearbox ecu etc )
then we can have a talk.

$10000 as is

pm me ask as many questions as you like

thanks
Glen

Glen, you can't be serious? :wtf:
Don't do it man, you know you love that car, it now has a nice blend of everything: good looks, performance, reliability (I've got that right haven't I?) and you plowed a lot of time, effort, energy and money into it.

Do you have a replacement in mind or have you just lost the plot?

^^^^^
well all that is true and people have been telling me not to sell it
but i think its time to sell.
even tho its hard for me to post this add
let alone a price thats why i want someone to offer me something half good. so it goes to a good home.

it just sits here/ not getting thrashed .

no replacement in mind yet maybe another one? or a house!
so yes i have just lost the plot.

13.2 is a shite time. why don't you get it into the 11s and get your name imprinted as the fastest staz in aus, and then you can worry about selling it?
