The first model. anyway found one that i have been chasing for a few years now and snagged it for 6500. will post some pics when i take delivery after getting back from the states in two weeks.

Daz be carefull if you intend to punt it hard and fast because they can be twitchy and unpredictable at 8/10 ths and higher. I have driven the later model and I liked it :beer

First of all Rad I'm waaaay to old to drive anything over than about 5/10ths but thanks for the concern :beer . Second of all yes Mal I have owned one before and it's one of the few cars I regret selling. Good clean unmolested examples of the Aw11 are getting harder to find so i got lucky the guy reminded me on the phone the other night that I had offered him 7k for it a couple of years ago when he had it for sale at 10k, he sold it to his sister. Anyway I have been watching it for a while now and he had it back on at 8k until a few days ago when he dropped it to 6,900. i got it for $6,500. I dont actually take delivery until I get back from the states so it will be something to look forward to.

I've had 2 AW11's the last one I had was an '88 supercharged manual with LSD gearbox, red with t-tops.
I ended up selling it for less then what you paid for yours. They're not worth as much over here I guess.
Although they are a really nice car to drive! I love my one :)

The supercharged AW11's were all imports here and are worth a lot less than an original Aussie import one. Getting hard to find now that have not been modded or destroyed.

Having owned both, I wouldn't own a non-supercharged one.
Having the supercharger and LSD was awesome! Instant power, great handling. Luckily it had no rust! :o
The rarest thing to find with AW11's is one without rust!
I think I would have another one for sure!

Where the pics?

that's not all.. they have ceramic coated tops too!! the supercharged version of the 4age had more bells and whistles than even the 20v ones
