The electorate that I live in is one of the safest Liberal seats in Australia & would take a massive 12% swing to remove the sitting member, thats why I'm so disallusioned. I feel my vote means nothing. :( As a result, the Libs spend nothing here coz they know they can't lose, & Labour spend nothing coz they know they can't win. We're in a lose - lose situation. The only option is to sell up & move somewhere else, but as I'm nearing retirement, I don't like shifting any more.
