It's had plenty of breaks (in every sence of the word :D) Mainly gearboxes :D

I can't believe this widey is still available. You can't even buy one for 10K in Japan, let alone on already on the road here.

It's the sexy driver that makes the pic look so good :P
This car will surprise you the more you drive it. Did the last cruise too easy, and used so little fuel.

Actually don't buy it.... I want to drive it again at the next cruise rofl
How about i deliver it to the new owner Mal?

Sexy car. And I wouldn't say it needs a respray unless you are extremely picky. That car is a bargain. Good luck mate. :beer

This is what I mean with the flakey clear coat. I guess you would expect it with a 20+ year old car and being black!
There also is a little on the roof and some on the passenger door! NO RUST though and panel alignment is very good!

just a thought. I have a gold donor car with a perfectly good engine and transmission set up. How difficult would it be to convert it to a manual do you think ? if anybody is interested but is put off by the auto theres an idea there.

If I had sold my other house I would half consider shipping this to NZ, manual conversion and driving it...

Another bump!!

Car is now in Carsales. It's interesting that there is no provision for the widey in their standard description!

An explosion of interest in the car at the moment as a result of the Carsales ad!!

You would expect so as you seriously could not buy one in Japan for the money!!

It should sell this time around!! :) (I'm already looking at other Starions in Japan for import... I can't help myself. I need a whack over the head with a rolling pin )

Beautiful car! I don't understand why you don't finish this car instead of the narrow. I'd be selling the narrow and putting the funds into making this thing the way you want. Even if that swapping the engine and box.
My 2c worth. Your car, your call...
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
