I'll make the new air box this week from the mold but I haven't decided If I'll go carbon fibre or just FRP.

Interesting what you are doing here. I would be keen to see the finished product and installed.

Carbon fibre would be a good thing, enough to make me part with some $ to get one in fact :D

I'm laying the air box up tomorrow and I'll install it on sat and post some more pics.
If I like how it turns out I'll do one in carbon with a twill dress fabric. :D

Its a black gelcoat finish but I'm gonne paint it matt black. The K&N fits quite snug and the factory AFM is housed inside the 100mm alloy convoluted induction pipe. This is only temp for the moment.

Looks amazing , great craftsmanship there for sure. What are you going to do about the afm in the future?

I'm waiting for the Aus dollar to get to about 92 US cents then I'll buy this Maf set up I have on my vr4 and run it on the starion.
